Notice is hereby given that the 2010 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Cairns Cycling Club Inc. will be held:

At 7:30pm on Tuesday, 9 February, 2010 at Smith Park, Keeble St, Manunda.

The AGM will be followed by the February General Meeting.

The agenda for the AGM shall be as below.

·        Special Resolution related to proposed changes to the Club Constitution

·        Presidents Report

·        Treasurers Report

·        Audit Report

·        Election of the 2010 Management Committee

Nominations are called for the following positions on the Management Committee of the Club.

·        President

·        Vice President

·        Secretary

·        Treasurer

·        Other Management Committee Members to make a total number of seven committee members

Nomination for positions on the Management Committee must be made according to the following rules.

1. The nominee must be a current financial member of the club.
2. The nominee must be eligible to hold a Management Committee position in an incorporated association under the Associations Incorporated Act (1981).
3. Nomination must be made by two current financial members of the club, and accepted by the nominee.
4. Nomination must be in writing, on the form given below, and signed by all parties involved in the nomination (Nominator/ Seconder/ Nominee).
5. Nomination must be in the hands of the Secretary at least 14 days prior to the AGM (no later than 26 January, 2010).
6. Unsuccessful nominees for the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer will be automatically nominated for the other Management Committee positions unless declined by the Nominee.
7. Where there are no written nominations for a position, nominations will be accepted from the floor. Under no other circumstances shall nominations from the floor be accepted.
