TRACK AND ROAD RACE NUMBERS GROWING ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS - LOOKING FOR A KIOSK CO-ORDINATOR, CAN YOU HELP ?

Wednesday Night Track Races are growing in numbers with Junior and Senior Track Bike Races and Senior Road Bike Races being on the program, so the Cairns Cycling Club is in need of a Kiosk co-ordinator to re-open the kiosk and offer food and snacks to the competitiors and visitors.

The gold donation BBQ that was held the other night was a hit with riders, and the comments from riders and spectators has been that they would like this to be able to buy food every Wednesday.

As I see it the Kiosk Co-ordinator would assist in finding volunteers, setting up a roster to help run the kiosk, and BBQ's when they are on, and also put together orders for food and snacks.

The assistance that Dave has been providing to Don and Mark at the track races by riding the motorbike, and helping with race registrations is really appreciated. Dave has been helping out in the kiosk, in a temporary capacity, but now that the races are growing we really need to look at a more permament way of getting the kiosk up and running again.
